  Richard Norden, M.D., FACS

  Dr. Richard Norden is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 30,000 LASIK procedures performed. Dr. Norden’s cornea and refractive surgery fellowship training took place at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and for years he served as the medical director of the New Jersey Eye Bank. He was the first ophthalmologist in Northern New Jersey to perform LASIK and trademarked Custom LASIK. He has trained hundreds of ophthalmologists to perform LASIK and has lectured nationally and internationally and has published numerous articles in all the most prestigious ophthalmologic journals and has written a chapter on corneal transplantation in a corneal surgery textbook. Dr. Norden is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery and is a founding physician advisor to the Refractive Surgery Alliance. He appears regularly in the Castle Connolly NY Metro areas Top Doctors, Inside Jersey’s Top Doctors and America’s Top Ophthalmologists. He has been written about in the New York Times, Bergen Record and 201 Magazine and Bergen Health & Life and is on the medical advisory board for ophthalmology for that magazine. Dr. Norden is known as the physician’s physician and has performed LASIK on hundreds of physicians and their family members, coming from all over the US, many from prestigious medical centers in NYC who crossed the bridge to come and be treated by Dr. Norden. Many local ophthalmologists and optometrists have chosen Dr. Norden for themselves and their families. Dr. Norden is the only LASIK surgeon in Northern New Jersey that is a member of MENSA, the High IQ Society, although he claims that doesn’t help him excel in his passion for playing tennis and piano.

  Eileen Conti, M.D.

  Eileen Conti, M.D. is a fellowship trained ophthalmologist/cornea specialist with numerous publications in ophthalmology and scientific journals. Dr. Conti has been practicing medicine since 1998, and she has been performing LASIK/PRK and other refractive surgeries (CK, premium IOLs) for over 21 years. Dr. Conti is the mother of 3 beautiful daughters, an adorable Maltipoo named Buddy and her wonderful husband is also an ophthalmologist. When she’s not seeing patients or driving her daughters around to their many activities, Dr. Conti enjoys playing the flute and the organ, reading suspense novels, skiing, cooking and exercising. She’s completed multiple triathlons, 5K races and two NYC marathons. Dr. Conti is hoping to do a third marathon in the future, with a goal of finishing in less than 5 hours.

  Leon Aleksandrovich, M.D.

  Leon Aleksandrovich, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK). Dr. Aleksandrovich has performed over 10,000 laser vision correction procedures over the past 12 years of practice. At LasikPlus, he is dedicated to using the most advanced technology and laser techniques to correct your vision safely and effectively. After graduating from New York University with degrees in Psychology and Russian literature, Dr. Aleksandrovich completed his medical training at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While there, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society and received an Outstanding Student Achievement award. He completed his ophthalmic surgery training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt/Columbia Presbyterian Hospitals in New York City, where he was a Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Aleksandrovich is a member of several select professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. This allows him to share his knowledge and continually perfect his surgical and clinical acumen. Dr. Aleksandrovich is fluent in Russian and conversational Spanish, and in his free time enjoys skiing, biking and traveling.

  Alexa Fox, O.D.

  Optometrist - LasikPlus Paramus

  Dr. Fox received her optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and has a diversified background in optometric care. She completed an externship at Norfolk Naval Base, evaluating candidates for refractive surgery and managing them pre- & post-operatively. She then went on to the New England Eye Institute where she focused primarily on the cornea & specialty contact lenses. At the VA Hudson Valley & Castle Family Community Health Center she diagnosed and managed anterior & posterior ocular disease.
